How to Make Peach Iced Tea
Peach Ginger Tea Ingredients:
- 8 cups of water
- 6 organic black tea bags, or you can use white tea, oolong, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, or even green tea
- 2 cups of peach slices, fresh or frozen, about 4 peaches worth
- 2-inch piece of ginger, sliced
- 1/2 cup of granulated sweetener, or 1/4 cup of stevia, or use honey and add later (see instructions)
Instant Pot Peach Iced Tea:
- Add water, tea bags, peaches, granulated sweetener if using, and fresh ginger to Instant Pot and stir to combine.
- Add lid and lock into place. Switch the vent to “Sealing” and set the Pressure Cook (manual) setting on normal for 4 minutes.
- When the timer goes off, allow pressure to release naturally 10 to 15 minutes, then finish manually releasing pressure.
- Let cool a bit and strain the liquid through a sieve.
- Pour liquid into a large (8-cup), heat-resistant pitcher, if it’s still hot. Taste test for sweetness and ginger, adding more if desired.
- Sweeten with honey, now if using, to taste, and stir to combine.
- Cool slightly and then serve over ice with peach slices.
Stove Top Peach Iced Tea Recipe:
- Add the peach slices to a small bowl along with the ginger slices and sweetener. Stir to fully coat the peaches with the sugar and zest. Let the peaches sit for at least 20-30 minutes so the sugar can pull the juice out of the peaches.
- In a small saucepan, add the water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Add the tea bags, cover the saucepan, and steep until room temperature.
- Remove the tea bags without squeezing to prevent bitterness.
- In a large (8 cup) pitcher, fill 1/3 full with ice cubes. Add the peaches along with any juice.
- Pour the tea concentrate over the ice and peaches and fill the pitcher with water.
- Chill and serve.
Cold Brew Peach Iced Tea Method:
- Place tea, peach slices, ginger, and water in a pitcher or glass container with a sealed lid.
- Cover the pitcher and put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours or more.
- Strain out tea from other ingredients.
- Taste for sweetness and ginger. Add more sweetener and fresh grated or sliced ginger to the pitcher.
- Pour the tea into a glass with ice.
- Cold-brewed tea does not need ice if you prefer not to dilute it.

Peach sweet tea is such a lovely treat to cool down in the summer. You can sweeten it to your liking easily by adding honey afterwards.
Add more ginger if you’d like to the pitcher as well. Store it in the fridge and the fresh ginger and extra fresh peach slices will continue to add flavour to your peach tea.
Peaches offer extra nutrition to your tea, providing vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, vitamin K, niacin, and beta carotene. Tea, ginger, and peaches are of anti-oxidants to offer a detox, healthy skin, and anti-inflammatory boost to what is a delicious healthy iced tea.
