Healthy Snacks Recipe Archives
Technically, there is no such thing as healthy snacks. There are either complete or incomplete meals.
By this, all I mean is that a snack is typically something like a piece of fruit, some nuts, a yogurt, or a few crackers with cheese. These are not complete meals with a balance of protein, carbs, and fats.
If you are eating a complete meal that is small, then often, people call this a snack as well.
Some gym-goers and fit people like to eat many “small meals” per day. They are usually eating three main meals and two or more mini meals (or healthy snacks).
My recipes for healthy snacks are just parts of a complete meal. They are good for adding to a meal prep or a child’s school lunch box. I will give suggestions on how to pair them with other foods to round out your “mini meal”.
